Privacy Policy

Kraga School of Music is an online piano and keyboard teaching service based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Kraga School of Music. You can reach us at [email protected].

We only collect information you choose to give us through one of the forms on this site.

Booking a trial class. Your name, email address, mobile number, country, the timezone your browser and connection report, whether the class is for you or a child, whether you have an instrument at home, the date and time you selected, and any message you add.

Contacting us. Your name, email address, the subject you selected, and your message.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, government identification, or passwords through this website. If a form ever appears to ask for those, do not enter them and tell us.

To respond to you: to confirm a trial class, send the class link, answer a question, and arrange lessons if you decide to continue. The timezone information is used only to show lesson times in your local time and to spot an obvious mismatch, such as a VPN, so we can check we have the right time with you.

Form submissions are stored in our database, which is hosted by Supabase. When you submit a form, we also receive an email notification so we can respond. Every notification we send you comes from [email protected], and replies to it reach the same place.

To show lesson times correctly, the booking page looks up your approximate timezone from your IP address using a third-party service, freeipapi.com. This tells us your general region and timezone. It does not identify you. The pricing page no longer makes this lookup, because every student is now quoted the same rate in US dollars.

If you choose the option to receive the class link on WhatsApp, or you click a WhatsApp link on this site, your message and number are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies, and it records the pages you view, the approximate location your IP implies, and your device and browser. We use it only to see which pages work. We count page views in our own database, hosted by Supabase. That is first-party data and it stays with us.

We keep booking and contact records for as long as needed to provide lessons and keep reasonable business records. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Many of our students are children. When a parent or guardian books a class for a child, we assume the adult has provided the information and consents to us using it to arrange and provide lessons. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child through this website.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be explained clearly.
